Cadet Jay Canty signed National Letter of Intent

Oak Ridge Military Academy is pleased to announce that Cadet Jay Canty has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Xavier University next fall.  Congratulations to Jay and his family on this tremendous achievement.  Jay currently maintains a 2.9 GPA during his senior year at Oak Ridge and he will be expected to be one of our leaders on the basketball court for this upcoming season.
 
Last season, Jay averaged more than 23 points per game, 10 rebounds per game and 5 assists per game.  He also contributed on the defensive end, generating steals and blocking shots.  “He has been a special high school basketball player and we are confident that he will be an excellent addition as a student athlete at Xavier,” ORMA Head Basketball Coach Stan Kowalewski remarked.
